HOPE

BACKGROUND

Twenty years of occupation. Billions spent. And then silence. When the world turned away from Afghanistan, the people left behind were not statistics. They were mothers, children, families. Abandoned in despair, invisible to the news cycle.

IDEA

One image. The American flag, rebuilt from barbed wire. A symbol of power, reframed as a symbol of harm. No copy needed. No explanation required.

EXECUTION

The work was created as a single NFT and listed independently. A stranger found it, felt it, and bought it, then donated the proceeds directly to an organisation supporting women and children fleeing the conflict.

IMPACT

The work moved someone enough to act. That was always the point.
